The Frail Hearts Stories project, one of the three winners of the Weigh Station Call 2023, bases its entire structure on two simple foundations: creating a safe place and self-expression.

 

The initial phase of development involved the conception, writing and illustration of a book of original fairy tales created by Fiore Sinzar Hafner and Landis Mancini. The idea was born by expanding The black aquarium, a fairy tale created during university studies and then reworked for this occasion. Designed for educational purposes, the volume offers a look at the jobs of storytellers and illustrators, while focusing on the moral of the five stories and their task, which is to teach the reader a fundamental lesson on their own creative freedom and expression. Love Concept, this is the title of the collection, therefore aims to be a first step towards the creation of a sharing space.

 

The 5 collected stories are entitled: Her tragedy, The three hearts, The black aquarium, The solitary King and The enchanted kid.

 

The project concluded with a workshop and an exhibition dedicated to the book.
